HIFU Face & Neck

HIFU, or High Intensity Focused Ultrasound, is a non-surgical treatment designed to target deeper layers beneath the skin and stimulate the body’s natural collagen response.

It is particularly suited to clients who are beginning to notice reduced firmness, softening of facial contours or skin laxity around the lower face, jawline and neck, but who do not want an injectable or surgical treatment.

By delivering focused ultrasound energy beneath the skin, HIFU creates controlled points of thermal stimulation at carefully selected depths. This encourages collagen remodelling and can gradually help the skin appear firmer, tighter and more defined.

Full Face & Neck — £350

All treatments are subject to consultation, medical history and individual suitability.

Results vary between individuals and no specific degree of lifting or tightening can be guaranteed.

HIFU may be suitable for concerns including:

  • Mild to moderate skin laxity
  • Reduced jawline definition
  • Lower-face softening
  • Loose or crepey-looking neck skin
  • Early jowling
  • Loss of facial firmness
  • General age-related changes in skin structure

The treatment does not add volume and is designed to work with your own natural collagen response.

Focused ultrasound energy is delivered beneath the surface of the skin at selected depths.

The energy creates controlled areas of heat within the deeper tissues without removing or resurfacing the outer skin.

This thermal stimulation triggers a natural repair response, encouraging the production and remodelling of collagen over the following weeks and months.

As collagen gradually develops, the treated area may appear firmer and more supported.

Before treatment, we will complete a consultation and facial assessment to determine whether HIFU is appropriate for your concerns.

We will assess:

  • Areas of skin laxity
  • Facial structure
  • Skin quality
  • Medical history
  • Previous aesthetic treatments
  • Your expectations and treatment goals

The treatment area is then mapped and the HIFU handpiece is systematically applied across the selected areas.

Treatment settings and depths are adjusted according to the area being treated and your individual treatment plan.

During treatment, you may feel warmth, tingling or brief pulses beneath the skin.

Some areas, particularly around the jawline, can feel more sensitive than others.

Comfort varies between individuals and the intensity of sensation can depend on the area and treatment depth.

HIFU usually requires minimal downtime, meaning most clients can return to their usual activities following treatment.

Temporary effects may include:

  • Mild redness
  • Tenderness
  • Slight swelling
  • Tingling or sensitivity
  • Tenderness when touching the treated area

These effects are generally temporary and appropriate aftercare advice will be provided.

HIFU is not designed to create an immediate dramatic change.

Because the treatment works by stimulating collagen, results develop gradually as the body produces and remodels collagen within the treated tissues.

Some clients may notice early changes in firmness, with further improvement developing over the following weeks and months.

For some clients, a single treatment may be sufficient, while others may benefit from additional treatment depending on the degree of laxity and desired outcome.

Results vary depending on factors including:

  • Age
  • Skin quality
  • Degree of laxity
  • Lifestyle
  • Individual collagen response
  • Treatment area

Maintenance treatment may be considered as part of a longer-term skin rejuvenation plan.

HIFU tends to be most appropriate for clients experiencing mild to moderate skin laxity.

It is not a replacement for surgical lifting procedures and may not be suitable where significant skin laxity is present.

Your consultation allows us to assess your concerns and advise whether HIFU, RF Microneedling or another treatment option may be better suited to your individual goals.
